The Relational Imperative for companies
The company, its teams and its people each have a place in the picture. Shared goals and clear agreements give the work direction. Seeing each relationship from every side shows how the work is really going.
How it works
Purpose, roles and goals connect the work. Each place in the company has its own view.
Shared purpose, values and goals set a direction that people can recognise and question.
Teams make company goals meaningful in their own work and notice patterns in how that work is going.
Each person has a clear role and expected results, with a quarterly agreement.
The relationships a company keeps beyond itself, with customers, suppliers and partners.

Both need attention. Each has its own record and its own place in the conversation.
How we are working together
Everyone involved reads the same relationship from where they stand. Where their readings differ, there is something worth talking about, and each person's own reading stays private.
What we are here to do
Company goals flow down into team and role goals. Each quarter, the person and their manager compare what each has seen and agree where things stand. Both sign, and every version is kept.
Who sees what
Relationship check-ins stay private and blind. Those involved see each other's views; no one else does.
What anyone says in a check-in never goes into an agreement or a rating.
A lead sees the check-ins of the people in their part of the company, through each person's own relationship with the lead's team. Leaders without such a relationship see only protected group patterns.
Your agreement is between you and your manager. If anyone else opens it, you'll see who and why.
Start with your company, and see how where it's heading connects to how people work together.
